Atlanta Kids Triathlon

Unfortunately, our 9th annual Atlanta Kids Triathlon event will have to wait until 2021. Get the latest on our COVID-19 response. Learn more

As you might imagine, this breaks our hearts. At the same time, we completely understand our partners at Gwinnett County and the YMCA of Metro Atlanta have higher priorities. They love our event and have been incredible supporters since we held our first kids triathlon in 2011. At the same time, they have to make decisions that are right for their organizations and for the overall health of the community.

We are in 100% agreement with this approach and extend their focus to the safety and well-being of our participants, fans and volunteers. If we work together and stay focused, we will lessen the impact of COVID-19 across Atlanta and be able to return to the lifestyle we love much sooner.

In fact, we have already begun planning for August 2021!

Thanks again for your incredible support of the Atlanta Kids Triathlon. It is with a heavy heart we share this information. At the same time, we know there are many others - starting with our first responders - who are doing so much more important work to keep us healthy and safe.

Also, we know we are in this together. We hope you will be able to fill your summer with swimming, biking and running as we all look ahead to a better 2021. Take care and be safe.

The 2020 Organizing Committee

The Atlanta Kids Triathlon is proud to have the Pinky Swear Foundation as its Official Fundraising Partner. Their work supports the families of kids battling cancer. Along with participating in the Atlanta Kids Triathlon, your child will be able to fundraise to help kids with cancer and their families in the Atlanta Community. Fundraising efforts will go to pay for immediate non-medical needs like mortgages, rent, utility bills, and food for these families. Click here to learn more about the Pinky Swear Foundation.
